Payments & Billing Policy

This Payments & Billing Policy explains how payments, subscriptions, billing, refunds, and disputes are handled on MyBackStudio (the “Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By subscribing to or purchasing from MyBackStudio you agree to these terms.

1. Payment Providers

We use third‑party payment processors—Stripe and PayPal—to accept and process payments. When you enter payment information, you will be securely redirected to or handled by these providers. We do not store full payment card details on our servers; payment information is processed and stored by the payment providers in accordance with their terms and privacy policies. Use of Stripe and PayPal is also subject to their respective user agreements.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

  • Major credit and debit cards (processed via Stripe and/or PayPal)
  • PayPal accounts (processed via PayPal)
  • Other payment methods supported by Stripe or PayPal in your country (subject to availability)

3. Subscriptions & Recurring Billing

Our subscription plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) depending on the plan you select. By subscribing you authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge the payment method you provide for the initial subscription fee and all future recurring fees until you cancel.

Auto‑Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current price at the end of each billing period. We will attempt to charge your payment method on file. You are responsible for keeping your billing information up to date.

Free Trials & Promotional Offers

If you sign up for a free trial or promotional offer, you will be charged when the trial or promotion period ends unless you cancel before the end of that period. The terms of each promotion will be displayed at signup.

4. Invoices & Receipts

After each successful payment you will receive an electronic receipt to the email address on your account. You can also view your billing history and invoices in your account settings. If you require additional documentation for VAT or accounting purposes, contact us at [Insert Contact Email].

5. Taxes

Prices listed may or may not include local taxes (such as VAT) depending on your location and applicable law. Where required by law we will collect VAT or other applicable taxes at checkout. If you are registered for VAT in the EU and provide a valid VAT number, VAT treatment will follow applicable EU rules. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your purchase that are not collected by us.

6. Failed Payments & Payment Method Updates

If a recurring payment fails (for example due to an expired card), we will notify you and may retry the payment. If payment is not successfully collected within a reasonable period, your subscription may be suspended or cancelled. You can update your payment details in your account settings at any time.

7. Cancellations & Downgrades

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting support at [Insert Contact Email]. Cancellation will prevent future recurring charges, but will not retroactively refund fees already charged (see Refunds below). After cancellation you will retain access to any paid features until the end of your current paid billing period.

8. Refunds & Refund Policy

Our standard refund policy is as follows (you may adjust the windows and conditions as desired):

  • Monthly subscriptions: Generally non-refundable, except where required by law or at our discretion (for example, technical issues we cannot remedy).
  • Annual subscriptions: Refund requests made within 14 days of the initial charge may be eligible for a full refund. Requests made after 14 days will be handled on a case-by-case basis and are generally not refundable.
  • Free trials & promotions: If you cancel during a free trial or promotional period before the first paid charge, you will not be charged.

All refunds are subject to verification and may be declined if we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method via the payment provider and may take several business days to appear on your statement.

9. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you file a chargeback with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us to resolve an issue, we will respond to the dispute and provide transaction evidence. If a chargeback is reversed in our favor we may reapply the charge or suspend/terminate your account. Repeated chargebacks may result in account termination and restriction from future purchases.

10. Fraud Prevention & Account Security

We use Stripe, PayPal, and other services to help detect and prevent fraudulent activity. If we suspect fraudulent behavior or abuse, we may suspend or terminate your account and refuse future service. You must not use stolen or unauthorized payment methods.

11. Security & PCI Compliance

We take security seriously. Payment processing is handled by Stripe and PayPal, which are PCI-compliant providers. We never store full card numbers on our servers. 12. Changes to Pricing & Billing Terms

We may change prices, introduce new fees, or modify billing terms. If we make substantial changes to pricing or to these billing terms we will notify you by email and/or via the Service. Price changes will not affect fees already paid for an active billing period unless otherwise stated.

13. Third‑Party Terms

By using Stripe or PayPal through our Service you also agree to the terms and privacy policies of those providers. MyBackStudio is not responsible for third‑party payment provider behavior or outages.

15. Governing Law & Additional Legal Rights
